So many landscapers….. We want to share our very recent experience with a local landscaper.

Today, our 8 week in ground pool project was finished. Understandably, many key and process dependent decisions had to be made. Notably, deck materials and landscaping.

We were fortunate to have Mauricio’s do our decking and coping (border around pool). We chose travertine primarily because it doesn’t get nearly as hot as concrete or pavers and it is esthetically gorgeous as it is natural stone.

(The in-house (contractor) of the pool company installers came after the pool was put into the ground to build the decking.)

That is how we met Mauricio Diaz, owner of Mauricio’s Landscaping. He went over the plans and made outstanding recommendations on our design rendering. We went with his ideas. The crew carefully installed the beautiful travertine coping followed by the decking. It was stunning! They took their time and the craftsmanship is outstanding, helping create our backyard oasis. They paid attention to the details.

Luckily for us we went with his company to do after install grading, soil delivery, tilling and today the sod. The large crew did a great job completing this huge project. We took some pictures for you to see.

Normally I write short, succinct reviews however Mauricio deserves more. He was transparent in his quotes, stayed on budget and we found him to be available, communicative, flexible and a bit funny. When he told us he would be here on site, he was and on time daily. They worked until nearly sundown, even in extreme heat.

Therefore it is our pleasure to highly recommend Mauricio and his team for your landscaping and beautiful stonework.

They service the greater Triangle area from Wake Forest to Angier and everything in between.
